Freedom

1Q. What does it mean to live sustainably?
1A. To me, living sustainably means being able to conserve to the point to where i would need only about ten percent of what i use now. I mean i would be able to cut down on electricity more, "recycle", Cutting back on eating so much, and maybe take the buss instead of getting a ride from my parents.

2Q. How much freedom/independence do you have in our society as a 14-16 year old?
2A. I think I have a lot of freedom but it is restricted to the people I am with or environment I am in. Like if I'm with my parents, i wouldn't really have that much freedom which leads me to question number three.

3Q. As a 14-16 year old how can u live your life more sustainably?
3A. Continuing on, for me its all about my freedom. some things i suggested was if i were to take the buss, but that option is limited due to the fact that my mom doesn't really like me taking the buss. And also cutting back on food, but to me that's really on who buys the food, so it usually comes down on to how much freedom you have as a kid. The more mature you become the more responsibilities and options become available.

Your 10% idea sounds like the Zero Waste concept we studied in class.

i felt like i could really relate to the part when you talked about your freedom cause being with ur parents totally changes how much freedom you have
