my Ishmael

1. 1. What are Ishmael’s two general rules on how to identify people from our culture? Do you agree with Ishmael when he says that people from all over the world are part of the same culture? Why or why not?

1A. Ishmael's ways of identifying people from our culture were the Dancers, where they would dance for food or they would choose to not dance and suffer the consequences (death maybe), where on the other hand he has the thought that all humans are inherently flawed.

2Q. Ishmael disagrees with Mother Culture’s voice that says that humans are inherently flawed. After reading through page 66 of My Ishmael do agree or disagree with him? Why?

2A. I do think that humans are inherently flawed, because how this world is going, how the economy and just overall world is falling apart is about 99% our fault. Of course the other 1% is just the world slowly falling apart but the other 99 is from us treating the world like crap, But yeah there are thing we could do to prolong the world crash but there is no way that we can overall stop our human flaws. But if the world chooses to start helping out its going to be hard due to the fact that some people won't, because people that are born with these habits will continue what they were taught.

3Q. Ishmael uses a parable of Tunes and Dancers to explain his idea of Takers and Leavers. Who are these Takers and Leavers and how do they relate to American culture?

3A. takers are the ones who talk dance really seriously and devote their hardest to get the maximum of what is to be gained. but leavers take the bare minimum retirements of what they can. they will take what they need and only what they need. takers are like Americans because we chase success and we are always trying to get bigger and better than what we already have.
